A crazy story about Billy Idol.
The singer had been living like a rock star when he arrived at the penthouse suite of the Orient hotel in Thailand. After his extreme partying, drugs and women for three weeks, the hotel asked him to leave.

He took so many drugs that Idol was even allegedly found unresponsive in the doorway of an elevator, with the doors opening and closing on him, by Mel Gibson.

Eventually, Idol had caused $250,000 worth of damage to the room, and the hotel decided that they could no longer deal with the problem alone. Instead, they called in the Thai Army, who shot Idol with tranquilizer darts and forcibly escorted him out of the hotel, on a stretcher. Allegedly.
