I’ll admit it upfront—I tend to steer clear of plugin content. It’s not really my domain, and truthfully, there are creators far more adept (and possibly caffeinated) who specialize in that sort of thing. That said, when my friends at @strymon graciously handed me early access to the new Cloudburst plugin, I couldn’t resist. I already adored the pedal version—lush, spacious, and unapologetically ambient—so naturally, I was curious: what sonic wizardry might they have packed into this digital incarnation? And beyond that, how might it interact with other instruments in the wild?

So, here we are: my inaugural plugin video. Fingers crossed it doesn’t crash and burn. Let’s dive in.
