Iconic prelude from Isaipuyal A.R. Rahman's (@arrahman) super chartbuster that totally revolutionized Bollywood saxophone tone and technique in the 90s. Played now on the same soprano saxophone that I used at ARR's Panchathan Record Inn in Chennai for the recording in the early 90s. The genius composer was in the studio booth, choosing and changing mics, mic positions and settings all by himself.
