On June 18, 2024, the Afrofuturist concert film CYANO SUN SUITE premiered at Suoni per il Popolo festival in Tiohtià:ke/Montreal, Canada. It has since won over fifty awards on the international film festival circuit and we are proud to release it online one year later, June 18, 2025 as seven short films premiering every three days:

Directed by Stefan Verna; written, performed and produced by Tawhida Tanya Evanson; and featuring improvised hipjazzsoulbopfunkhop by members of Kalmunity Vibe Collective, this visual album in seven poems shot at the iconic Montreal Biosphere, is an afro-ancestral dream of outer space told through word, sound and science.

Featuring Jean-Michel Frédéric (keys), Erik Hove (saxophone), Mark Haynes (bass), Jahsun (drums), Elli Miller Maboungou (percussion), and guest poet Kaie Kellough. Editing by Sharif Mirshak of Parafilms and music production by Tyler Fitzmaurice of Audio Coara.
