If you follow us here you might get the wrong impression that all we play is Ukrainian music. Well, here's a brief snippet of a classic American tune that proves otherwise. It was recorded by a fan at a show we played on 1 Feb. 2025 at the DROM Taberna in Toronto, a wonderful venue that we hope to return to soon.

"Fly Me To The Moon", written and first recorded in 1954, was originally called "In Other Words". It's been covered by just about everybody, but the most famous rendition has to be from 1964, by Frank Sinatra accompanied by Count Basie, which became sort of a theme song for the race to the moon in those years. The chart for this sizzling arrangement was written by none other than Quincy Jones. We borrowed Quincy's grand finale in our own rendition (although you won't hear it in this excerpt, sorry!).
