This 1960s obscure vinyl record, finally restored via ai music magic, was written by members of The Pulp specifically for their group leader. “He sang that sh*t every night and didn’t think anything of it,” Pulp member Jonas Spritz said in a Motown documentary. “Then one night before a show he starts asking us who we wrote the song about. When we all kinda stared at him blankly, he stormed off, then he showed up with a bottle of orange juice and started throwing it in our eyes. Got himself real good too. We still had to go out and perform. Couldn’t even see where the mics were. Shout out to “Big Hand” Harrison on bass for holding down the rhythm while we stumbled through our set.”
