Airdate: July 10, 1965
Welcome back to July, 1965. Here's a little British Invasion from (nearly) 60 years ago for your 4th of July.
Brought to you by: Coca-Cola and Gary @jthyme7940
Chad & Jeremy's "A Summer Song" peaked at #7 back in Oct. '64 and ended up being their biggest hit.
"Hollywood A Go Go" was one of the ubiquitous mid-60's dance shows of the day. It ran in syndication nationally from Jan. '65 to Feb. '66.
This week in '65 The Four Tops had the #1 song, "I Can't Help Myself" but by the time this clip airs next week, the Stones will have their first #1 hit, "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction".
I hope that you are enjoying soft kisses on a summer's day and laughing all your cares away.
Have a Happy 4th of July!....(or whatever is happening when you read this.)
Thanks for watching!
