‘Goan Home Remedies’ is a short series where we're covering recipes that Goans cook up to cure common illnesses. These recipes are, in a sense, traditional, and are handed down by way of observation and practice. Through this video series I aim to document and even revive some tried and tested methods which seem to be fading away with time.

They are added to foods (mostly high protein dishes) for the purpose of preventing acidity post meals. Indigestion usually shows up as an upset stomach, acidity, nausea, throbbing headaches.
