Mouettes è un brano che è stato ispirato dalla lettura di un Romanzo, nell’intima ricerca di ispirazione, ho trovato rifugio tra le pagine di un Romanzo di Nicolas Barreau ambientato a Parigi.

Attraverso le sue parole ho scorto visioni di Parigi illuminate dalla luce del crepuscolo, dove le ombre danzano sulle acque della Senna e i pensieri prendono il volo come gabbiani nel vento.
E così con la mente colma da queste immagini, ho incontrato “Mouettes”, un brano per pianoforte solo che emerge direttamente dalle pagine di un romanzo parigino.

Le sue note, delicate e melodiche, evocano le stesse emozioni che ho provato leggendo il Romanzo. Che sia tra le pagine di un libro o sulle note di un pianoforte, l’arte ci offre sempre la possibilità di viaggiare in luoghi lontani e di scoprire nuove sfaccettature della nostra stessa anima.

La composizione “Mouettes”, inizia con una delicata sequenza di accordi, evocando la calma riflessiva di una Parigi crepuscolare.

La luce del tramonto si specchia nelle acque della Senna, dipingendo un quadro di serenità e introspezione. Le note iniziali sono lente e ponderate, creando un’atmosfera di tranquillità e contemplazione.

Man Mano che il brano progredisce, il ritmo si fa leggermente più vivace, riflettendo il movimento dei gabbiani che volano leggeri lungo il fiume. Le loro ombre danzano sulla superficie dell’acqua, e le note del pianoforte seguono con una melodia romantica e fluida.

Infine, i gabbiani prendono il volo, innalzandosi verso il cielo in un crescendo melodico che diventa sempre più gioioso e vivace. La melodia si trasforma in una danza allegra, catturando la bellezza e la leggerezza del momento, concludendo il brano su una nota di libertà.

Mouettes is a song that was inspired by reading a novel, in an intimate search for inspiration, I found refuge in the pages of a novel by Nicolas Barreau set in Paris.

Through his words I saw visions of Paris illuminated by the light of twilight, where shadows dance on the waters of the Seine and thoughts take flight like seagulls in the wind.
And so with my mind filled with these images, I encountered “Mouettes”, a piece for solo piano that emerges directly from the pages of a Parisian novel.

Its notes, delicate and melodic, evoke the same emotions I felt while reading the Novel. Whether between the pages of a book or on the notes of a piano, art always offers us the possibility of traveling to distant places and discovering new facets of our own soul.

The composition “Mouettes”, begins with a delicate sequence of chords, evoking the reflective calm of a twilight Paris.

The light of the sunset is reflected in the waters of the Seine, painting a picture of serenity and introspection. The opening notes are slow and thoughtful, creating an atmosphere of tranquility and contemplation.

As the song progresses, the rhythm becomes slightly livelier, reflecting the movement of seagulls flying lightly along the river. Their shadows dance on the surface of the water, and the notes of the piano follow a romantic and fluid melody.

Finally, the seagulls take flight, rising towards the sky in a melodic crescendo that becomes increasingly joyful and lively. The melody transforms into a happy dance, capturing the beauty and lightness of the moment, ending the song on a note of freedom.
