"These Days" is a song written by Jackson Browne, whose lyrics deal with loss and regret. It was first recorded by German model and singer Nico in 1967 for her album Chelsea Girl.

Nico was also a member of The Velvet Underground experimental rock band (with John Cale), and made several solo albums during the 1970s.
