SANTROFI is a dynamic collective of celebrated young musicians from Accra’s music scene, gathered together by bassist and producer, Emmanuel Ofori, known for his work with Highlife legend, Ebo Taylor and Pat Thomas’s Kwashibu Area Band. And THE OMNIVERSAL EARKESTRA is an unusual big band as well. There is no bandleader, the musical direction changes constantly. All members are brought together by their love for the classic big band sound. Together they celebrate their understanding of Highlife and Afro-Beat music with a big band sound. This has been a unique concert.
