A note from Dom: “Bleach is our heartbreak song. It’s something that we knew we wanted to write because we’ve all been through it before. But I wanted to tell a bit of a different story with it. A lot of heartbreak songs are about blaming the other person for the relationships end, so I wanted to write one from the perspective of someone who is the reason for the end. When you realize it’s your own fault, it really does feel like you just downed a jug of bleach. But it’s also a sign that you gotta work out some shit before trying to find love again. PS: Don’t drink bleach. I will not be held responsible if any of you try it.”
