It is a beautiful song that holds deep meaning and symbolism. White roses symbolize loyalty, purity, and innocence and have become the most popular flower to be seen at weddings.

It was released in 1969 by Nana Mouskouri and has been interpreted in different languages and musical styles. The singer bids farewell as they are about to be apart for a while and believes that just like a white rose that blooms again, their love will endure and they will be reunited.
