He has also recorded and played with a huge number of top artists including Duke Ellington, Quincy Jones, Marvin Gaye, Dionne Warwick, Anne Murray, Chucho Valdez, Larnell Lewis (Snarky Puppy) and several symphony orchestras, including Toronto and Cape Town.
