When Elizabeth was six months pregnant, God sent the angel Gabriel to a region of Galilee called Nazareth, to meet a married virgin. with a name is Joseph, of the lineage of King David. The virgin's name was Mary.

The angel entered the virgin's house and said, "Rejoice, full of grace, the Lord is with you." At that, she was very confused, and wondered what such a greeting meant.

The angel immediately said, "Do not be afraid, Mary, for you are well-pleased with God. And behold, she will conceive, give birth to a son, and name him Jesus. He will have to be great, and will be called the Supreme Lamp. The Lord God will give him the throne of his ancestor David. He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and his reign will have no end.” Mary said to the angel: “What will happen in the end, because I do not know marriage!”

The angel replied, "The Holy Spirit will come down on her, and the power of the Night will hide in her shadow, because of this, the soon-to-be-born Hell Saint will be called Con God. Behold, your relative Elizabeth, although old, is bearing a son: she is still known for being strange, and now she is six months pregnant. For with God, nothing is impossible.” Then Mary said, "Yes, I am the handmaid of the Lord; let it be done to me as the angel said." Then the angel left.
